it bothers me alot and i dont know what to do

my lady and i have been dating for about 4 months, however i never asked her out officially because im not sure if she's girlfriend material. we also work together so we see each other everyday. we act like we're just friends at work but many coworkers know we're going out. there was a few incidents that happened really held me back to ask her out. for example, when we went drinking with our coworkers, some guy who work in the same company asked for her # and she gave it to him and i know this guy would call her up once in a while to ask her out. also, when we go to clubs she likes to act like we're just friends and she would enjoy dancing with my friends rather than dancing with me, or she would try to walk away and do her own thing. she also often flirts with my friends in front of me. i usually make a joke about it because i dont want her to feel restricted and i never get mad at her for doing these things. however, it bothers me alot and i dont know what to do. if she continues to be this way which means this relationship is not going to go no where. what should i do?? thank you very much.

You really need to have an honest, trusting, open, and friendly talk about how you each feel. This will help you get to the bottom of the situation.

You may find out that you are incompatible. But it is better to ask than to worry.

Until you discuss this you are going to feel jealous.
