There is this girl i really like and have had a huge crush on her for a long time, she got another boyfriend and their relationship ended, she knows that i really like her and i tell her how much she means to me and that i really enjoy spending time with her, but when it comes to asking her out, she doesnt want to because she just wants to stay friends, she tells me how nice i am and everything else and i have liked her for over a year and she just doesnt seem interested. now she will hardly even give me a hug but she still thinks i am her good friend.

This seems to be one of them. You have given it your best shot. You made it clear to her how you feel, and, she made it clear to you how she feels.

It's probably time for you to move on and find someone new.
