I am confused! HELP!

I am very confused. I like this boy. For the first two weeks that I started to like him, he suddenly knew that I liked him. So he pretended to get close to me, I thought that he liked me but that was his way of telling me that he knew. But I took it the wrong way and asked my friend to ask him if he had feelings for me. He flatly and harshly said no but after that, he always stares at me for quite a while and it has been going on for quite some time. For example, he always sits close to me and he always looks at me to see if I'm looking at him. And he's very nice to me but after a few days, he always stops and flirts with other girls. But after that, he's my friend again. And he gets very jealous.
At the last day of school, he was really really nice and he was always staring at me. So I'm pretty confused, does he like me or what? Everybody doesn't think so but I do, I feel like he does by the way he stares or by the way he is to me. I have no idea, HELP ME!

It's always difficult to know what is going on in someone else's mind, especially if you can't talk directly about it. He might not even recognize his own feelings and is confused.
Find out his internet address and contact him that way--or phone him. See how the conversation goes and if you are brave enough, ask him if he likes you.
This will be far better than trying to guess what he is thinking.
