Boyfriend / Husband Nicknames (A-F) :
My Little insert animal name

When describing your alleged companion metaphorically, isn't it best to do it efficiently? Here we have "My" --the possessive, showing ownership or dominance in association. Then we have "little" -- more attempted disempowerment. Then comes the animal name: "you're not even human; you're an animal--more stupid than me, the human in this relationship, and to be used by me for whatever labor I choose." The type of animal gives another layer of meaning. For example, "tweety bird" could easily evoke the image of a caged bird, forced to sing for the master, and not allowed to have much of a life other than twittering.
