Maybe he felt as if you did not like him and that you were not intrested in him. So, he thought that you and him were not in a relationship so he decided to take this other girl out to the movies. YOu must meet him half way here. Once one of you makes a move, the other one must make a move too. Talk to him, he is probably just confused. Talk to him and see what happens.
