This doesn't mean to flirt with one of your friends but have your friend be there while you're flirting and maybe join in a little. This way, if you're shy, you can make it seem like you're just messing around and having fun with one of your friends. Just today my friend and I were telling guys we liked that we were their "paparazzi" so we were following them around pretending to take pictures. They went along with it and flirted back. It works really well!
