Rekindling the Romance :
Keys to Staying Together :
Stay Active

Staying active doesn´t mean you have to be ready to run a marathon, or work barbells every day. It means that you should generally try to maintain your body - going to a dentist, getting checkups, walking a few times a week. Why does this matter?

This isn´t about "looking good". Most studies show that looks are pretty unimportant to long-term couples. It´s about being a full partner in the relationship. If one person is always too weak to do things, or complaining because of aches, or not wanting to do things because they´d rather watch TV, this really causes stress on a relationship. When one partner is suffering, it causes difficulties for the other. Both partners should do their best to stay healthy, for the overall health of the entire relationship.
