Dating an Ex´s Friend

It´s really, really common for people to date their ex-s friends, or friends of friends, or ex-s of their own friends. People hang out with people they like, and you tend to date people you like, so it´s very natural for that to happen.

Be sure first that you´ve waited a reasonable period to be sure you´re really over your ex and ready for a new relationship. After that, if you like the friend and the friend likes you, that´s all that matters. You and your ex are history, and now it´s up to you to find someone that makes you happy, and that you can make happy.

That´s not to say there won´t be uncomfortable moments. There will undoubtedly be things that all three of you will be at, and you´ll just have to deal with them as well as you can. But your whole life can´t be put on hold because of your ex, and if you and someone else are right for each other, then you´ll find a way to make it work.
