2. The Hand Touch

When you're comfortable with the hugs hello and goodbye, move to the hand touch. This doesn't mean holding hands while you walk down the street. It means that you touch hands occasionally. If you want your guy friend to look at a bird you see in the tree, grab his hand and point with your other hand. If you want your girl friend to check out the cool car driving down the street, grab her hand and point with the other hand. It makes hand-touching a normal part of your relationship.
