Even though he was your best friend and you spent the last three years talking to him almost everyday, its extreamly difficult on you to be dumped cause you're always the "Just friend" factor. For me it was the most difficult to adapt to not have that open trust you used to have, and even though he still want to be friends, get over him completely before attempting to be his friend or you will always want more. He's not worth your tears.
