Guilt Gifting

I was cheated on by a prior boyfriend. He accused me of cheating, had a short fuse with me, and then would go out and buy me some cheezy gift....for no reason?? Guilt works in mysterious ways, and gift giving is often I sign. In my gut...I knew he had cheated, but could not prove it...until one day I went to the doctor. He had given me chlamydia! Fortunately, it cured easily...but the fact remained...I finally had the proof my gut needed. He denied it for 3 more days, very abrupt, before he finally owned up to it. I knew I had been faithful, and he still had the nerve to blame it on me...ha!
