Ive been in this situation for a couple of weeks now, firstly because i felt like i wanted to split. i never told him but i realosed that it was a stupid for not doing so. Now though, hes not as close and i dont feel so attached to him either. We dont mind if we dont hold hands anymore, he barely returns my notes to him etc. It like he cant be bothered with me. i would usually think that its just a phase as the fun has gone and were just settling after months of being together. The thing that scares me though is that i was acting like this when i thought about finishing him. so if these sound familiar its best to ask straight out, if he lies and does finish you. then you know he wasnt worth it because hes a liar.
