Should you ever find yourself falling
Know that I will be there to catch you
Should you ever find yourself lost in the world
I'll be your Northern Star, hovering above to guide you through

Should your burdens ever become too much to handle
I'll gladly bear your cross upon my back
If you ever find yourself in any kind of danger
Trust I'll be your shield, guarding you through any attack

They say that more money may bring more problems
Problems I'll devote myself to helping you solve
Standing alongside you in all of your battles
Fighting at your side with the utmost resolve

If you ever need a shoulder to cry on
I'll hold you tightly for years if that's what you need
Steadily starting to love you, at least as a friend for now
Hoping with all my heart you're doing the same with me

Should your days start to fill with darkness
I'll do all in my power to fill them with light
In your struggles to keep the one you love close
I'll do all in my power to help you win the fight

If you find yourself surrounded by sadness
I'll make laughter descend from the heavens like rain
And if torment ever seems to overwhelm you
I'll strip you clean of all your pain

And one last testament of how I truly feel
If you even feel the need for a little more proof
Know that I would NEVER lie to you
Regardless of how much it may hurt to speak the truth...
