Beatin' tension

When me and my gorgeous girlfriend were first datin', there were a few occasions when she would try and hug me, and although I'm a soppy bugger behind the mask I'd suddenly clam up and make some excuse like "Wait a minute, I've got cramp", when really I was worried because me mates were watchin' and I knew they'd take the mick. But then at one time I couldn't think of an excuse not to and I thought "so what if they wind me up" and I hugged her as well and it was really nice. And it was just the same scenario with kissin' when me mates are watchin'. My point is, the second hug/kiss was ten times easier and less tense. And now it just comes as almost second nature. My point is: the first kiss might feel tense and uneasy, but just try and switch off from that, it'll probably be really nice and sweet and then you'll find it easier from then on.
