Love Poetry

Love Poems - Renaissance :
Sonnet

With wondrous thoughts I pray I must exclaim,
My love for you exceeds the shining stars.
Your walk and breath do take a toll on tame,
But calmness comes once promised love is ours.
Love is evident in your smooth, sweet face,
More visible than the radiant sun.
Love blinds me from its purity, but can embrace
Your flowery skin and silvery voice as one.
Your perfect figure only can be matched
By eyes which trap my stare with solid grip,
But never do I wish to be unlatched
From your poise, nor sight of your lovely lip.
And though these features impress men on ground,
It's more than looks in which my love is bound.
