I really want to call him desperately

I like this guy in my school. We have never been really close in the first place but now that my friend told him I liked him things have gotten weird between us. Were going ice skating this friday w/ a group of friends and I really want to call him before friday. but i dont know how to call w/o sounding desperate and i really want to call him desperately. Should i or should i not call him. Also V-Day is right around the corner and i wondering if i should give him a very spcial v-day card.

My advice would have been to call him and open lines of communications. That will almost always improve a relationship.

Your question about the v-day ... I would have said to buy him a card if things were going well after the skating party.
