Can i do anything special to get her to like me?

I asked out my friend a couple of weeks ago and she said no. I really really like her. I asked about 5 days after she broke up from a 6 motnh relationship. Now we are going to a basketball game in a few days. I asked her and she sounded excited to go. She made it very clear when I asked her out that she didn.t want to go out with me. But why is she excepting invitations to go to games with me now. Have her feelings changed in the last 3 weeks? What can i do when were there to try to get her attracted to me? Is that even possible? Weve bene friends for 3 years would it be okay if i kissed her on the cheek when we hug cuz we hug all the time and its no biggie. Can i do anything special to get her to like me?

There are no easy answers to this, but you seem to be well positioned to get her to change her mind about you.

You are already friends with her so work on becoming a better friend: share feelings with her, be kind to her, and never let her down. Have good hygiene: wash carefully, take care of you hair, and fingernails. Be well dressed: shoes, pants, winter jacket, etc. Be intelligent: improve your grades, read the front page of the newspaper every day, learn a new word every day. Incorporate all of this into your relationship with the girl. She is sure to notice the difference (and so will a lot of other girls too.)

I hope these changes will help change how she feels about you.
