A Love Quote
Break a vase, and the love that reassembles the fragments is stronger than that love which took its symmetry for granted when it was whole. -- Derek Walcott

I would be with the one person that I live for before I live for myself

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
This who thing is complicated really, but what type of love isn't. I've been dating this man for going on 2 years now. I moved to another state with him or I guess I should say for him, away from my family and friends who I very seldom get to see any more. My boyfriend knows that I love him so much that I will pretty much do anything he asks me to, so...he sortof controls who I get to talk to, any new friend that I have made since we lived here he has a problem with but he however, can have any type of friend he wants. I've noticed that since we have lived here he has treated me differently, work always comes first and hes always too tired to spend time with me but makes time for his friends. I am becomming very jealous of his friends and the fact that he would do anything for them could care less if we see each other or now. for the most part if he and i do see one another it is because i go to visit him. Now he is moving in less than a month and I am left here to finish school with no friends and not neglecting boyfriend. He asked me to move in with him once i graduate college and I have no idea what to do. I would be even further away from my friends and family but i would be with the one person that i live for before i live for myself. any advice would be wonderful!!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
As bad as he sounds, you seem to love him with all your heart.

In that case, you have no choice but to try to work with him to improve his ways, but the bottom line is that you are going to accept whatever he gives.

Also, you will have to finish college and then follow him and live with him.

I say these things not because they are necessarily right, but you have made the decision he is the one for you and there are few other options for you.

Good luck! George
