i don't know what to do because I am so damn shy

i really like this girl! we have alot in common we have gone out of town together for differnt events and even out of state. I really want to be more than friends, but then again dont want to lose our friendship.. Also she has a twin who a while back i was flirting with and had a crush on... but this is way more than a crush and i dont know what to do beacuse i so damn shy

Do you want to be shy for the rest of your life? Of course not!

The way to get over shyness is to take every human interaction as a challenge to be just a little bit less shy. This means greeting everyone you know whenever you come across them with a big smile and using their name. Pretty soon you will know lots of people and that will boost your ego.

Part of your shyness is fear of rejection. Sure, some people will reject you... but they are losers anyhow. Nobody is going to reject an honest hello that comes with a smile.

As for this woman, tell her you are "developing feelings" for her. That won't be too hard to say and it won't scare her away.
