I try to talk to her, but she's always with her friends

I'm really confused. I've written this girl poetry, bought her jewelry, I even sang to her, and I'm not even sure she knows my name. She gave me her number, but other than that nothing. I consider myself lucky just to get a wave from her in the hallway. I try to talk to her, but she's always with her friends.How can I tell if she's intrested?

Call her on the phone and start talking with her.

Introduce yourself so you know she knows your name. Then in the hallways always look her in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus her name and give her a big smile. Later ask how she is doing.

Meanwhile on the phone talk to her so that you are friends. You can't have a good relationship with her without being friends.

She probably likes you but is too shy to show it.
