She wants to feel me out to see if I have changed

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Ok my ex is talking to me. She really went off the deep end after everything, to the point where she was harming herself. I got so stressed about it i told her family what she had been doing and when she approached me i lied and her mom covered for me. Kinda makes me feel like a jackass. She did tell me she missed me but the next day missed hanging out with me. sounds like she wants to feel me out to see if i have changed. Should i tell her about me confessing to her rents and how should i handle her wanting to take things slow?

Yes do emphasize how you are continuing to work on changing yourself. That is very important to her.

Don't confess to her yet... there is time for that in the future.

Keep talking with her but don't be too pushy about it... continue to give her some space. She will make the move to get closer when she is ready.
