Hi...I would like to know if you could give me advice.
My name is Monica(19)and I like this guy. We met 3 years ago on highschool when I started to like him I did nothing to get closer with him I just tried to go to same places as him and there hoped he come and talk to me. The problem is both of us are extremely shy so now 3 years after that I am exactly were I started. When we are on parties we say hi but nothing more, sometimes I catch him looking at me but he never approaches. Right now I really dont know what to do to get closer to him and talk to him, also I dont really expect him to come to me. Both of us are really shy so please help me to do something so we can talk...Thanks!

Break shyness by practice, practice, practice.
Whenever you see him look him straight in the eyes, say to him in a clear voice "Hi" plus his name, and give him a big smile. Keep doing this until you feel comfortable to ask him how he is doing...he will say fine... and you say great!
Eventually, a conversation will begin between you two and the shyness will be less. Don't wait for him to come to you, you go to him.
