Hi I've known this guy for more than a year and from the first time he started flirting and every time we see each other he tells me he likes me and stuff (we see each other once a month or sometimes more or less depending on the random situation) sometimes he starts calling me but then suddenly stops and so. We've never been out on a date we just talk about the possibility of a date. Every time we are together we spend all the evening and the last times we even holded hands, hugged and last time we kind of kissed (mini ones lol). My question is if he likes me as much as he says and calls me and spend great times then why haven't he asked me out or so since it has been a long time already? I've never had a b/f before and he had one for 3 years about 3or 4 years ago. thank u very much!

Sounds like he knows how to flirt but not how to date.

You may have to take the lead and suggest a date... going out after work or some weekend date.

This will probably work out ok for the two of you.
