She's taking it harder than way back then. so now she is spreading rumors about me

I have three problems that all related to eachother, kinda. The first one is, my GirlFriend and I were getting to much of eachother so I thought we could use a little space and she thought I was breaking up with her so she got really angry at me. but now it seems she's taking it harder than way back then. so now she is spreading romurs about me.

next 2 are related to eachother directly. first is that I have this friend that is a girl (lets call her K*) and I liked last year. now, I like one of her friends who used to be one of my friends (let's call her V*). So I'm not sure if I should tell V* how I feel because She is a close friend of K* and I also don't want to feel awkward around K* or V*. What should I do?

Walk up to your ex and say to her in a calm voice that you respect the relationship that you once had and ask her to stop spreading rumors about you.

Regarding K* and V*, you should not be afraid to tell V* how you feel. K* should be mature enough to understand that your feelings have changed.
