we ended up hanging out together ALL day long, laughing, flirting, really enjoying each other

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Okay. Very confusing. Im 18 and a freshman in college. Shes 17 and a junior in Highschool. I met this girl (h*), and everytime we were together a couple of her friends were with us. and this past saturday night they came over and we were all partying. Well this girl had to go home but her friends ended up staying the night. Now the situation between me and h* is not serious, and probably if we never talked again it would be okay with both of us. But I think I like her friend T*. Now the problem. T* has been broken up with her boyfriend for 2 weeks. But its so obvious that she loves him still. He treats her like crap. And this past weekend she was suppose to party with him, but he ignored his phone calls, and she ended up staying with me at my house like i said earlier. So the next day (sunday) after we woke up, I invited her to church and she agreed. we ended up hanging out together ALL day long, laughing, flirting, really enjoying each other. I know she was hurt by her boyfriend not calling her, but i know she enjoyed being with me. I havent came out and told her to her face that i think im starting to have feeling for her. I mean this is really the first time we have ever been able to connect in any way. all the other times weve been together, was with her friends, and I was suppose to be paying my attention to her friend h*. She has dated her boyfriend for 4 years, and he just keeps using her, and using her. But she cant let go of him. So sunday after i took her home, we were talking and i told her he treats her like dirt and doesnt care, and only reason he keeps it up is cause she always comes back. I told her he probably cheated on her, and monday she called me crying telling me i jinkzed her, and that saturday he got all messed up on drugs and what not and screwd another girl. Si I played the support roll and listened to her cry and was just there for her. I dont know if this is way to short of a time to tell her that i like her? If she is in no position to even think of another guy like this right now. or what? thanks for all your help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Leave this decision to her.

You are very wise to consider her feelings and the shortness of the break and how that might affect her.

Be there as a friend so she has a shoulder to lean on and a sympathetic ear to share feelings with.

It is quite likely that she will turn to you for something beyond friendship.

Good luck!
George
