Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Ok... I am 25/m she is 23 almost 24. WE've been hanging out for a littel over a month. It's been great...except when we are in public or near my friends, A* in particular. I feel that she acts around him the way i want he to act around me when we are around my friend. She'll go over to him and start talking to him and put her hands on his lap. Last night, we were walking hand in hand towards my friends, she kind of pushed me away and walked over to where A* was and started talking to him, then she was standing behind him when he was sitting down and at one point she was sitting next to him and put her hand in his lap again. The earlier incident of this happening, when she put her hand in his lap, he picked it up and kissed it. He has a history of hooking up with his friends girls. It still is irking me today. I don't know what this means or anything. I don't know if she secretly has a crush on him... but she acts more lovey dovey to him in public but more lovey dovey to me in the bedroom. And it really bothers me. What do i do?

What might help is for you to have a long, tender, trusting and honest talk with her about this. You have probably stored up some anger so be prepared for those feelings. Explain to her some simple changes that will make you happy. First is her putting her hands on his lap. Next would be that you want more lovey dovey in public and for her to not rush to A* immediately when you get around him. Be sure to let her know that you don't mind her interacting with him, but just make a few small adjustments to her behavior.
