i froze up and forgot about what i wanted to say to her

Well i talked to her before and asked her for her name but i don't remember it so i don't really wanna say hi and not say her name.I told her today that i liked her but she just turned back and ignored me and i wanted to say something but i froze up and forgot about what i wanted to say to her.Now all i want to do is say hi to her and her name to see her reaction so is that a good idea?
