Alright, I will try to keep this as short as possible. Basically, I met this guy in the summer of 2004 and he is in his twenties and I am only 16. He confesed about six months later that he had feelings for me.. and I had all along been completely in love with him. He's always been the type of person that likes to be with himself rather than other people... so he writes back to my emails rarely. He lives 10 hours away, so I never see him and he had a girlfriend after he told me he liked me (which is fine) but they are no longer together. He says that he hopes there is a chance between us someday but not now because of the age difference. He basically doesn't write to me that much... I think it is b/c he was abused when he was little so he likes to keep to himself. I just feel so neglected and miss him all of the time. I've never loved someone so much, and I can't imagine spending the rest of my life without him. What do you think on this whole situation...?

You are wasting your sweet youth hoping for something that's not going to happen.
He lives 10 hours away and rarely emails you. He says the age difference is too great. You feel neglected and miss him all the time.
Open your eyes and see the sunshine. He is not the right boy at the right place or time. Find somebody new who is "real." Somebody you can talk to easily, you can touch, and share feelings with. And someone your own age --this is what you need.
You won't forget this boy, but your feelings will gradually calm down to where you can think of him as an old friend.
