Getting my Ex to Accept me being around

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
My ex has found someone new and i dont care, i just wanna be his friend... and since we hang out with all the same people its becoming a problem becuz he doesnt want me where him and his new gurl are going to be becuz he thinks somehing will happen and he thinks i still like him... when i really dont.

So i wanna know, what can i do without talking to him becuz hes the worst person to talk to, nothing comes out of it.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It sounds like you're being the mature one here and he's being a bit immature. Just about every relationship involves common friends - so most breakups involve people being around each other and having to meet up. That's one of those marks of being a mature person, being able to deal with that and talk with each other and go on with life.

Maybe he's had bad experiences with previous exs ... maybe he still misses you and assumes that obviously you must still miss him. In either case, it's one of those life lessons he has to learn, that life goes on and he has to deal with it.

It's not your job to train him to be an adult, but take it slow for your own good. Just be around when he is and show him that it's not an issue. He will hopefully learn from your example that life goes on without giant disasters, and will settle down a bit.
