I am feeling more than like an idiot. About two weeks ago, I hooked up with a guy that I work with (I know). But the thing was it was actually ok. I knew he didn't want a relationship and for various reasons in my personal life, I don't right now either. The past couple weeks have been fine. He had called a couple times to see how I was doing, ect. But when I call him, he either ignores it, or seems irritated. Last night we didn't make official plans, but I was sure he would call. He of course didn't. But I did ALOT. I was drinking while I was getting ready to go out and I don't even know how many times I called him. What do I do now to get back something resembling dignity?

Simply say you are sorry you called him so many times and never mention it again.

He is probably grown up enough to recognize the alcohol involved and kind enough not to mention it.
