I have known this girl for about 4 years, and we would talk o occassion but nothing more. Just recently though she would start conversations with me on the bus and one day, a bad one for her, she got on, with like a stressed look on her face. She sat down next to me and smiled first then started telling me how her day went. When she was done I did the say and the rest of the way home we talked about random things that would pop up.

Keep doing what you have been doing and your relationship will become closer and closer. Pretty soon one or the other of you will want to move the relationship to the next step of boyfriend/girlfriend.
