Getting a Relationship Going Again

So, i went away to go to school, now i am back. There was a guy i was dating and we remained friends but didnt go any further because of the distance, he met someone.....
lately he has been calling and showing signs of wanting to get back to where we left off, how do i get him to tell me, i mean he doesnt seem like she is an issue, but im not with him every waking moment you know. How do i act now, we have becaome good friends, but i want him, how can i get him back what do i do, we are going to start going out again....you know chill and hang, but how do i get it back, can it go back...help!!!thanx

It sounds like he's a bit confused about what to do with his current girlfriend and you. You need to feel out what is exactly going on with the other girl. It's really unfair to do things with him if this other girl thinks he is HER boyfriend.
If you guys are friends, then take it from that angle. Ask to grab dinner with him as friends, and then ask him about this other girl. Find out what they are to each other and so on. I think if you spend the evening with him and start asking those sorts of questions, you can get onto the topic of what he has with her and you missing him and get him to at least start making some statements about his life :)
