I really like this girl that goes to my school and we seem to make eye contact once and a while but I dont know if she likes me. I basically know little to nothing about her. But I found her phone number in the school directory and I would really like to ask her out but I dont know if I should and its also summer break so I cant do anything at school what should I do?

Give her a call and if you are a good talker, talk to her for a long time.

If you are not a good talker, then just make some minor chit-chat like "what you been doing this summer." Then ask her out.
