Hey guys, I'm 16 year old guy who likes this girl in my class but really confused on what I should do. Alright I met this girl in one of my classes this year and she is shy like me so how do I talk to her? We maybe talked once or twice because I sit in the front of the class and she sits in the back. Its the only time of day I see her and I really want to know if she wants to do something someday but I don't have the guts to. She's going to be a cheerleader next year and I'm going to be a football player...I was thinking if I don't talk to her by the summer my chances are done. There is this car wash thing going on in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if like I get her wet with the hose it might be a way to flirt...or on the other side it might just get her mad which will kill my chances. She is person who you can really get along with...How do I know if she likes me?

The important thing to do is to start talking to her before school is over.

Try to find some time when you can be together... lunch? At the very least be sure to say hi with a big smile and use her name when you pass her in the hallway. And take advantage of the class you have to talk to her. Ask her out like to a movie or something. Give her a note if you have to!

At the carwash... sure spray a little water on her but not too much and don't mess up her hair. Tell her you care for her and you want to go out with her.

Be brave... you only get one shot a life so get going. The habits you develop now will stay with you the rest of your life. This includes good habits like knowing how to talk with a girl. If you are a football player, you are going to have to be brave... why not be brave with girls? Not rude, but brave.
