Its bothering me that he is going to college

Hey. I havent got to look at the site much but i have a couple questions. The first one is im 14 and my boyfriend is 17. His ex-girlfriens keeps saying i should break up with him and everything because of the age difference. Would that be because she still likes him and wants him back? or just to make me mad? i mean she lives like over 1000 miles away and they never met. My other question is he is going to college in October. He says he really loves me and i love him too. Should we stay together and just have eachothers trust or should we split up? we both really like eachother but i dont know what to do. Its bothering me that he is going to college.

Ignore his ex, it isn't any of her business.

Don't split up when he goes to college unless you both agree to. See how things work out and things are not going well then that's the time to split.

Your age difference is important as far as the law goes so keep that in mind.
