I'm going to the prom with a guy friend that plays tennis with me. We talk alot and we have gone out with groups of friends but never alone on a date. He seems to like me but he is a really big flirt. When ever we are alone he doesn't seem as "smooth" and at ease as he is when we are in a group. But i took him home one day from dinner (because he is a grade younger) and he didn't try to make any kind of a move. Do you think maybe it is because he might not know how i feel? Maybe he is intimidated?!? How should i approach him about my feelings? Can you help me out because i want to go into prom knowing where we stand! ((it is less than a month away)) THANKS

Tell him you are developing feelings for him.

If he doesn't answer in a meaningful way, ask him how he feels about you.
Since you are already going to the prom, he must like you some.

Don't worry about his shyness in private... that will improve with time.
