Better communication needed

my boyfriend and i fight alot. he always makes me sad and i cry about it but i like him so much. he tells me i mean everything to him but he blew me off even on new years eve! how do we not fight? and how can i get him to tell me things that he hides from me which we fight about and how can i put things better without him twisting it around so he ends up putting words in my mouth. help me please.

One of the keys to a successful relationship is good honest communications. This seems to be lacking between you and your boyfriend. He may be too immature to do this, unfortunately. But you have to try real hard to engage you in honest talk. One good way to defuse arguments is to use the word "I" instead of "you" For example "I feel sad right now." Hopefully he will ask you why. Then you say "Well, we seem to argue a lot." You get the idea.
