Too nervous to talk

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi. i really like this guy that is new in my school. My brother introduced me to him and we talked a lot the first day we met. I feel that he is a very sweet and genorous guy. Another day my friend and i saw him at lunch period and we said hi and he said hi back. When we saw him again, i got way too nervous to talk to him and before i know it, my friend goes up to him and says "she wants to talk to u, and do u know her name?" he said im my bro's little sister. that made me feel very unconfortable because i dont like it when ppl reder to me as someones sibbling and not just me. After he said that and smiled and sat on a chair for a minute and waited for me to come and talk to him, but i freaked out sooo much and got really nervous. i didn't know what to say and if any words are going to come out of my mouth. This is really upsetting because i want him to get to know me as "me" and not someones sister. i really like him and im thinking about asking him out soon, but i dont know if thats such a good choice or not. i cant stop thinking about him and trying to search for him sometimes in school. Im OBSSESSED! lol. i dont know if he will say yes or not and i haven't had too much luck with two other guys before and it really hurt me. I dont know what to do...Any advice would be very well appreciated..
