Too nervous to talkVisitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi. i really like this guy that is new in my school. My brother introduced me to him and we talked a lot the first day we met. I feel that he is a very sweet and genorous guy. Another day my friend and i saw him at lunch period and we said hi and he said hi back. When we saw him again, i got way too nervous to talk to him and before i know it, my friend goes up to him and says "she wants to talk to u, and do u know her name?" he said im my bro's little sister. that made me feel very unconfortable because i dont like it when ppl reder to me as someones sibbling and not just me. After he said that and smiled and sat on a chair for a minute and waited for me to come and talk to him, but i freaked out sooo much and got really nervous. i didn't know what to say and if any words are going to come out of my mouth. This is really upsetting because i want him to get to know me as "me" and not someones sister. i really like him and im thinking about asking him out soon, but i dont know if thats such a good choice or not. i cant stop thinking about him and trying to search for him sometimes in school. Im OBSSESSED! lol. i dont know if he will say yes or not and i haven't had too much luck with two other guys before and it really hurt me. I dont know what to do...Any advice would be very well appreciated..
First you need to get to know him as a friend. That involves open communication and you have to get over your nervousness. You can do this by being brave and talking to him even if you are nervous. We have tips on what to talk about at: http://www.romanceclass.com/miscr/LoveCat/23683
