He is jealous

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
hi
I have a friend who is in a relationship with a jealous boyfriend When we want to go to a craft show, store football game he is not involved in he will say how long are you going to be or I thought we were suppose to spend time together or he will say I love you and will miss youLike he doesn't want her to go or a guilt trip. He say he does these things because he loves and cares for her so much She says she is tired of it, being questioned for going places with friends. He denies it like he is not mad but you can tell he is upset. She has asked him to leave twice but he insist he will change and won't do it no more she can have her freedom. We'll this is the 3rd and final time she says to him if you do it this time you are to leave. He promises to get books and read on it she showed him on the internet about jealous boyfriends he promises he will change. At first he could not believe some of the thing he was doing. They have been dating for 2 years and he just moved in 5 months ago and thats when the control of asking the questions really started. Should she stay in this relationship or should she end it. He does not go no where unless he goes occasionally with us. His only friend he goes out with is maybe once every 6 months.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Your friend is at the crossroads of making a decision. She has been with him a long time and apparently got along fine. Then they moved in together and his jealousy became intolerable. He is trying hard to overcome this bad habit, but with little success.

My advice to her is to ask herself whether she would be better off with him or without him and base her decision on the answer to that question.

I also worry that he doesn't go out except rarely... that does not sound normal.

Best wishes to you and your friend,
George
