Want my ex back

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Ok so here's the story. My ex boyfriend who just happens to be my first love broke up with me about 2 years ago. Before that we dated for about a year or a little over a year. Everything was PERFECT! Everybody called us the perfect couple and thought we were going to get married, even thought I was only 16 and he was only 17. Well about 2 weeks after we broke up he started dating this other girl. I was rude to her because I was mad at hime for finding someone else so quickly because I wanted him back so bad! Well they dated for a little less than a year and after they broke up we became friends again. Well one day it became it turned into more than a friendship when we had sex. Yes I'm sure your thinking omg! they are just 17 and 18 years old but I still loved him a lot and I thought it would get him back. Well we continued to be friends and one night I told him that I still loved him and that I wanted to get back with him and he said that he didnt see us ever getting back together but he wanted to be friends forever. Well that really hurt me because I was so madly in love with this guy and after that he didn't really talk to me for a little while. Well school started and it's my senior year and it's his freshman year at a local junior college and he still lives in town. I see his parents all the time and we talk and I miss him incredibly. Do you think there's ever a chance of us getting back together? Do you think there's anything I could do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Certainly there is a chance of you two getting back together. The key is that you are still friends with him and his family. Keep your relationship at a friendship level and if something is going to develop, it will. Your role is to make sure that he doesn't feel fenced in by you. It won't be easy to do, but you sound very committed.

Sorry you are in this situation.
Best wishes,
