She's 15 , he's 22

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I am 15 and he is 22. I met him online and he used to go to church with one of my good friends. We love each other very much and have tried going out twice, but we always broke up b/c no one knew about it and it felt like we were living a lie. What makes things worse is that he moved away, but its only 45min away and he works nights so I dont get to talk to him or see him as much as I used to and we really want our realtionship to work. We refer to the future a lot when we talk and when I turn 18 and after I graduate we plan to move out together, but the problem is my parents knows of him, but she doesnt know all of the details and the same with his parents. We dont like to lie to our parents, but what else can we do? My parents would kill me if they found out I was talking to someone that much older than me(not really but u know wut i mean). In our opinion age shouldnt matter when 2 people love each other. Its more what those 2 people feel. What can we do to make this relationship last until Im old enough and how do I tell my parents?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Well the first thing I would say is that if you are having sex with him, he could go to jail. Your parents could make it happen. Don't have sex with him, it is very bad news because you are under age for sex.

It is important for your parents to know. They will understand the love, but almost certainly will not accept the age difference. Be prepared for that most likely outcome.

I am sorry you are caught in this situation.
Good luck,
George
