13 year old has feelings for an adult

ok. im 13 and ive become really close to an adult. in the summer he had some problems and i listened to him.then he would always talk to me about his problems. we went on alot of walks together. now i have feelings for him. he says he wishes i was older. i think he has feelings for me too. i know its weird. but he is a really good person. he says talking to me is like talking to an adult. i heard that from other people too though so he isnt just saying that and he is always honest. he says talking to me is like a breath of fresh air and the quiet moments we shared have been some of the best times of his life and i feel the same.we always ask eachother(mostly he asks me) why we get along so well. its almost like we would make the perfect match. but he is too old and i hate that and so does he. he says he wishes i was older. what does this mean and what should i do?is it wrong?

The most important advice I can give you upfront is to NOT become physically active with him. He can go to jail for having sex with a minor. You did not mention that sex was an issue, but I wanted to give you that warning as it is VERY important.
As much as you don't want to hear this, you should tell some other adult-- a parent or guardian about your relationship with this guy. You run a strong risk of them forcing you to break the relationship, but you should tell them anyhow.
You need to be hanging out with kids your own age, not adults. It is sad but true that you are too young. But, I assure you that with your intelligence and kind feelings you will easily find someone more your age soon.
