Husband cheats

I have been with my husband for 5years,got married 2years ago. He has been cheating with a old friend of mine since before we got married, tells me he tried to get out of the relationship but was told that if he left her she would tell me and he says he felt trapped.He also admits to having an addiction to sex and is now telling me he is going to get help and he wants to try and save our marriage.This is very hard for me to believe anything he is saying at this point. Dont know what to do???

Only you can figure out what to do about this. Do you want to give him a chance to get treatment for his addiction (assuming that is his problem) or do you want to dump him now? Sexual addiction is a recognized disorder and there is treatment available. Has he ever shown the ability to overcome bad behavior in the past... that might give you a clue as to whether he can be successfully treated now.

The call is yours. Give him this last chance or get rid of him.
