She Doesn't Feel the Same Way

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Me and my girlfriend have been going out for 6 months now. We get along great an everything seemed just right. When I told her I love her about 3 weeks in it she was so happy and and she told me back.

Now she broke up with me because she said she doesnt feel the same way that I do about her although she has been trying. I am just confused because if thats true then did she really love me in the first place? This was also our first and now i guess last problem in our relationship and it seems like she doesnt even want to work it out. It makes me feel like shes making the wrong decision. I know we only went out for a short period but I also know she still has feelings for me. Please help me get her back if there is a way.

No two people ever feel the same way about anything. You are both unique people with unique feelings. Why was she comparing her feelings with yours? She should be with you because SHE wants to be with you, not because she "doesn't love you the way you love her". It sounds like something else was bothering her and she just used that as a strange excuse. What was it that made her unhappy? Did she feel like you were smothering her or something like that? If so THAT is what she should have said, it's something you could work on. You need to find out what was really wrong.
