im getting engaged soon and i trust my man to get the ring for me,i've showed
him some rings that i would like it to look like but i also told him i trust him and i want it to come from him!
My friend says im mad and that she would have to pick it out herself...
what do you think?

Second, you do whatever makes you feel happy. Who cares that your friend would pick out the ring? She'll get what she wants, alright, but she won't have the warm glowing feeling of knowing her guy picked it out with her in mind, and loved her enough to go get the ring. Instead, it's like she's ordering it at a McDonald's drive-thru. Who wants that?

Let your guy get the ring for you. And no matter what he picks out, it will be perfect for you because he wanted it for you. That is what makes it special.
