Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Im 15 and Im interested in someone that is 18. We have been talk and go out on dates for a like a month or two. But he's going off to the military, and Im going into 10th grade. I really like him because I usally have boyfriends because I cant find anything that I can see myself spending any time with except him. He's so different so I feel like Im losing him. I dont know what I should do, can you please help me.

The best and only answer I can give you is to just stay in touch. Write him and email him and stuff, but don't stop living your life. He's going to be away for a while and he's going to be going through a lot of stuff. You might not see him again until basic training is over and that will just be for a short time. He'll get his assignment and then go there.
As hard as it may be, you need to realize that at this point a relationship isn't realistic. Remain friends, but give him the freedom to see others and see others yourself (when you are ready... don't rebound). But do keep in touch with him because you never know what can happen and also, he will get really lonely and homesick wherever the military sends him.
