Does he like me or was he just after sex?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I met this kid in college 4 months ago and I started to like him almost in to the second week of school a lot. I got the feeling he liked me. I am friends with his roomate which gives me an excuse to stop by his room everyday.

A week ago I had to sleep in my friends bed because my friend wasnt there that night, my crush was sleeping across the room. We talked for a while and i was flirting with him a bit. He asked me to come over to him and he started touching my chest and we started kissing and so on.Finally he asked me if i wanted to have sex and i said i didn't care, and we didnt end up doing it.

The next day he was acting like nothing happened, so i asked him if he wanted to do it again sometime and he smiled. But I am still not sure if asking me to come over to him and doing the stuff we did means that he likes me or not? I need to know if he likes me. Anything would help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
I think it's fair to say the guy likes you, if he was flirting with you and such. But I think you mean does he really care for you, or did he just want sex with you.

I would guess that he does like you if he's been hanging out with you and flirting with you this whole time. I don't imagine it was good for his ego to have you say you didn't care if you had sex with him or not - as if it was something meaningless and you wouldn't even notice either way! While some guys and girls like to show sex is just fun and not serious, few people like to think sex with them wouldn't really matter to someone.

I'd keep flirting with him and work on the friendship part. Try to get out to dinner or a movie with him. Sex is certainly fun, but if you get that emotional connection going first, it can be amazingly better.
