i already forgot about too many guys

I REALLY like this guy hes a year older than me and one of my guy friends told him something like im looking for a boyfriend someone like him , so he added me , but one day hes like lets just be friends that means he knows i like him, he said its because he doesnt know me that well, i was like yeah sure we dont wanna get stuck in something and then regret it right. And he gave me a smiley face it was on msn, he said lets be friends but he doesnt seem to be trying and i dont want to let him think i'm all over him, but i still like him what should i do? hes hard to approach, barley alone and i dont want to get embarrassed by talking to him infront of his friends. i really just want him to like me! my friends say dont give him much face(dont talk to him pretend you dont care) then he'll come to you! what if he doesnt? i dont want to forget about him i already forgot about too many guys, but hesthe first one i tried to get with! i feel like if i was his girl my world would be perfect i'd be happy the whole time nothing could put me down. i dont give him face but he doesnt either =( ,.... life is not fair !

The best thing you can do is treat him like any other friend. If he says you don't know each other well enough, this will give him a chance to get to know you better without being pushy. He may also suddenly wonder why you are not fauning over him and start to get more interested in you. Finally, he may not be interested in being more than friends. So, given all the possiblities, act just like a friend.
