How do I get him to at least talk to me?

How do I get him to at least talk to me? I left a note just lying about saying I liked him and he took the bait, but now I'm out of school and every time I try and call him he puts his little brother on the phone and has him hang up on me! How do I get to actually talk to him and get closer to him before school starts again? I know I can't make him like me, but I think he would if he just gave me a chance. I am going crazy thinking of how he won't give me a chance to make my case!

Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do about making someone like you. He's giving you a clear message that you need to move on and find someone who will talk with you on the phone. Maybe things will change when school kicks in again, but if you continue pestering him when he doesn't want anything to do with you, then it'll be hopeless.
