im fourteen and i have been sleeping with my ex b/f and i think i am pregnant. I have not yet started my period. But i took the pill just incase. plz help

Not that you need me to point this out, but 14 is a very young age to be having sex. It dumps way too much responsibility on you when you shouldn't be having to worry quite so much about stuff. Worrying about being pregnant is a huge thing to handle, as you well know. And there's sexually transmitted diseases that you need to worry about, and the emotional toll of dating someone and being that intimate. It's an awful lot for a 14 yr old to have to deal with.

Anyhow, you mention that you took the pill just in case. Do you mean that you've gone to a doctor and now you're taking birth control pills every day? Or do you mean that you took a RU-486 pill (did you know it's only about 65% effective)? When you say you haven't had your period yet, you mean in general or this month only? Why aren't you using condoms?

If you really want an answer, the best thing to do is buy yourself a home pregnancy test. They are 99% accurate and some can be done within one week of having sex. Read the back of the boxes to find out.
